About Us
Byzanteaum
is an Old World-style tea shop specializing in master-blended loose leaf
teas, distinctive tea ware and inspirational art. Visit our cozy
shop and “inner sanctum” located (downstairs) within the
Katholikon Liturgical Art Studio and Gallery at Cable Car Square in the Old Cathedral Historic District
of Dubuque, Iowa.
Byzanteaum
teas are formulated and crafted by proprietor D. Grace Deane who holds
the honors of Tea Master, Master Herbalist and Master Fine Artist. The
teas are blended with the highest quality global-resourced organic and
natural ingredients honoring fair trade and “green” practices.
In
keeping with the theme of Katholikon’s Gallery of Ancient and
Medieval Liturgical Art, Byzanteaum tea blends are inspired by ancient
and modern-day Holy Ones, venerated for their inspiring and
extraordinary life examples in call-to-action, care and love.
At Byzanteaum, you will also find distinctive multi-national tea ware, tea
linens and limited edition, inspired art prints created by the art
studio on premises.
